The International Committee of the Rotary Club of London is a member of an International Group of 6 Rotary Clubs from some of the Capital Cities in Europe. This group known as the R6 was founded in 2004 and has two meetings a year during which they plan charitable projects for which all the clubs contribute Euro 2000 per year. The latest R6 meeting was held in Brussels in November, at which time the Rotary Club of Copenhagen was invited to join the group. In future the group will be known as R7. The clubs have recently funded and implemented projects in Morocco - building a nursery - sponsored by London, A water project in Haiti - sponsored by Milan, and a project i to provide transport and assistance for children in Nepal - sponsored by Brussels. The project for 2016/2017 is in Bangladesh providing a Dental Surgery - sponsored by The Hague.
